MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur – Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) through the City Schools Division here conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 23, a Barangay Education Summit held at the division’s Covered Court in Amai Pakpak Central Elementary School (APCES).
The first ever Barangay Education Summit was successfully realized in cooperation with local government unit of Marawi City, the Sanggunian Panglunsod, and the City Field office of Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG).
Schools Division Superintendent Anna Zenaida Unte-Alonto said the summit was a huge success as it was participated by the city 96 Punong Barangays, city local government officials, civil society organizations implementing programs related to education in the city, concerned government line agencies with mandates on education and local governance.
Private School Administrators and school heads of Marawi Division and its different officials are also in attendance, she added.
She expressed thanks to LGU Marawi led by City Mayor Gandamra, the 96 Barangay Chairmen led by ABC President Camid Gandamra JR, MILG Chief Sir Skip, CHO Chief Dr Ali Dalidig, City Councilor Abdani Alonto, MBHTE Consultant former Supt Soraida B. Noor, Synergeia Program Officer Halil Aguam Bacarat Jr. (PMT)
