MULONDO, Lanao del Sur — Mayor Nihara Macabando Panandigan of Mulondo municipality in Lanao del Sur has been enthroned as Bae a Labi sa Ulo a Masiu on Saturday, a coveted prestigious title conferred only upon a truly respected lady with leadership possessing royalty connected with the title.
The lady town chief executive was enthroned the title less than a week after she had filed her certificate of candidacy with the Commission on Elections for re-election as mayor.
Masiu is one of the Four Traditional Divisions of Ranao. It is also one of the 16 Royal Houses of the Maranao Homeland. (ROCAYA SUMNDAD OTICAL/THE RANAO STAR)
